The large showcase by the wall, show finds of clothes from Kronan. They are mostly exclusive articles that have belonged to officers onboard. Most of the clothes were stored in special chests, in which they also were found during the excavation. The headgear from the wreck are both simply knitted caps as well as more sophisticated felt hats. In the 1980´s the remains of most likely an officer, were found together with spectacular belongings; a clock with a small crank, a turned snuffbox made of turtle shell, a gilded sword handle and silk ribbons. More than 50 gilded brass buttons, indicate that the man once wore a French fashion style just au corps-coat, sadly disintegrated during more than 300 years on the bottom of the sea.
